National Games Overview

National gamesThe National Games are a U-10 trough U19 competition celebrating the spirit of soccer and sportsmanship in AYSO.

The games took place July 1 – 8, 2012 in Knoxville, TN

  • Boys and Girls Competition.
  • Special Competition for VIP program

Expected:

  • 3,300 players, 220 teams
  • Over 6,500 family and friends in attendance.
  • Over 1,000 local volunteers, including 300 referees.
  • Over 14,000 hotel room nights used for the duration of the Games.
  • Over 30,000 meals served.

 

 

Division Winners

  • U-19 Boys Co-champions: Region 305 from Concord, Calif., and Region 345 Lake Worth, Fla.
  • U-19 Girls Co-champions: Region 19 from Culver City, Calif., and Region 345 from Lake Worth, Fla.
  • U-16 Boys: Region 65 from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
  • U-16 Girls: Region 779 from Chino Hills, Calif.
  • U-14 Boys: Region 24 from Downey, Calif.
  • U-14 Girls: Region 119 from Mililani, Hawaii. (Also winner of the Michalski Sportsmanship Cup)
  • U-12 Boys: Region 77 from Lompoc, Calif.
  • U-12 Girls: Region 215 from Rowland Heights, Calif.

Sportsmanship Winners

  • U-10 Boys Sportsmanship co-winners: Region 275 from Knoxville, Tenn., and Region 498 from Madison, Ala.
  • U-10 Girls: Region 1475 from Chesapeake, Va.
  • U-12 Boys co-winners: Region 100 from Kailua-Walmanalo, Hawaii, and Region 1159 from Maryville, Tenn.
  • U-12 Girls: Region 118 from Aiea, Hawaii
  • U-14 Boys: Region 71 from Woodland Hills, Calif.
  • U-14 Girls: Region 119 from Mililani, Hawaii (Also winner of Michalski Sportsmanship Cup)
  • U-16 Boys co-winners: Region 275 from Knoxville, Tenn., and Region 269 from Leeward, Hawaii
  • U-16 Girls: Region 862 from St. Johns, Mich.
  • U-19 Boys: Region 605 from Charlotte, N.C.
  • U-19 Girls co-winners: Region 459 from Harrison Township, Mich., and Region 894 from Monrovia, Ala.
